Straight edge. Not symbolically, literally. Zero curves. What it lacks in multiple styles it more than makes up for in attitude. Just black (900) for now, but room to grow. Makes absolutely anything you write at least 7x badass. An assortment of alternates and ligatures for fun tweaks, too. The design pulls from two traditions that have no business being this compatible: the gothic geometry of old-world blackletter and the block-stacked dimensionality of 80s and 90s street lettering. The result is something that feels simultaneously ancient and thoroughly now.

    Made for titles. Palindromes optional. While this was inspired by (and named for) my love of movies, this is a headline typeface made for wherever you want to put it. The ultra condensed width means Cinegenic is more of a display font, begging for a large size. The italic and backslant angles are 9º and -9º respectively.
